Ivy Lebelle, Ricky Johnson Discuss ‘Ivy’s Room’ Showcase as Final Installment Drops
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Ricky’s Room has released the fourth and final installment of the Ivy Lebelle showcase “Ivy’s Room.”
The group sex scene features Connie Perignon, Queenie Sateen, Mazee the Goat, Chocolate God and studio honcho Ricky Johnson.
Lebelle and Johnson both spoke with XBIZ about the tattooed star’s first showcase, the idea for which, they both explained, came about at this year’s XBIZ Miami conference.
“Ricky Johnson has low-key been championing me this year,” Ivy enthused about her producer, director, and co-star in all four scenes. “Ever since I shot for Ricky’s Room I felt like part of the Ricky’s Room family. After he brought me out to XBIZ Miami, he floated the idea, thinking it’s crazy I’d never had a showcase before, and he’d love to be my first. And it was on from there.”
Johnson elaborated on the genesis of the project.
“I’ve known Ivy for a while, and then we had shot a Ricky’s Room scene in the past,” he said. “And then we were at XBIZ Miami and Ivy came because I brought around like, I think, six or seven girls.
“We were kind of joking around, and I was like, we should do a showcase, like ‘Ivy’s Showcase.'”
Johnson said they figured out what to shoot right there on the spot.
“I was like, alright, let’s do a DP [which was filmed with Anna Claire Clouds], an anal, a group scene and maybe a B/G/G,” he continued. “And she was like, let’s do a B/G/G anal, and then we started kind of spitballing and talking about it there, and then I just followed through with it.
“It was really easy with Ivy, because she’s an easy person to work with. I just think she’s a cool chick.”
Lebelle said she was instrumental in the creative process, building out from Johnson’s already-established look and feel.
“I’m obsessed with the Ricky’s Room aesthetic already, so I wanted to ring true to their OG vibe while bringing plenty of Ivy into ‘Ivy’s Room,'” she said. “I chose my co-stars and the looks we did; it was all so much fun. I’m honored the performers I wanted to join me accepted my invitation because the chemistry in all the scenes is so intense.
“It was absolutely a collaborative project. Especially my one-on-one scene with Ricky, where they brought my idea of being a lost Siren in a San Fernando Valley pool to life.”
Added Johnson, “When I’m collaborating, I like to also allow a person to be super creative, like, even with the pictures and all the people in the crew.
“With Ivy, she has a really cool aesthetic, and, you know, for her hair, her outfit, who she wanted to work with, and the types of scenes, I gave her full control to bring creativity to it.”
Lebelle also raved about working with the Ricky’s Room crew.
“Every single member of Ricky’s team brings so much to the table and are a huge factor in why their content looks so amazing and unique, as well as making it a pleasure to be on set,” she said.
For Johnson’s part, he was emphatic about how much the sexual chemistry he and Lebelle share was integral to the production.
“You can never have too much chemistry, you can always try new things, and find out things together,” he said. “Ivy’s just one of those people that I have really great sexual chemistry with — and just good chemistry in general. So it makes it a fun day at work, you know?
“It’s just, like, ‘Oh, I’m excited! Let’s see what we come up with, and how creative we can be sexually as well as just with each other. It was awesome!”
And they both wholeheartedly agreed on how ready Lebelle is to finally have her own showcase.
“Ivy is, I think, all porn stars’ favorite porn star, you know? Like, if you ask a bunch of porn stars who’s the most beautiful porn star, a lot of them would say ‘Ivy Lebelle!’ Johnson exclaimed. “It was well overdue for her to get a showcase, and I think she brings a lot to the table, especially for alternative performers. She’s really great.”
Lebelle referred to the health issues she discussed with XBIZ in August when explaining why it was time to star in her own showcase.
“It’s a new version of me. Ivy 2.0,” she said. “I haven’t shot anything pro since a lot of intense life events transpired, and I endured health issues that involved removing my breast implants. However, I’ve never felt sexier and more in control and I really hope that comes across in my scenes for ‘Ivy’s Room.’ I always try to let my authentic sexuality shine, and that’s exactly what I got with this showcase.
“I hope everyone enjoys ‘Ivy’s Room’ as much as I did making it!”
